親愛的TNS會員及舊雨新知：

去年我們在日本仙台舉辦的日本神經科學學會（JNS）2023年會中，首次舉辦Taiwan Night。活動相當成功，並獲得各方熱烈迴響。今年在日本神經科學學會的熱烈支持與協助下，經討論將在今年7/24-27福岡舉辦的NEURO2024大會（https://neuro2024.jnss.org/en/）中擴大舉辦兩場台日交流活動，包括7/24（會議第一天）的台日之夜（Taiwan-Japan Joint Social），以及7/26（會議第三天）在正式大會議程中舉辦 Taiwan-Japan Joint Symposium。這兩場活動細節如下或請見附件海報，敬邀大家踴躍到場參與及共襄盛舉。

1.  Taiwan-Japan Social (aka Taiwan Night)
時間：7/24（Wednesday）6:40-8:40 p.m.
地點：Room 204（第六會場）
已邀請駐日代表處、JNS大會長、JNS重要幹部與成員、及各界貴賓；會中備有精美晚宴及薄酒（一次會），歡迎大家踴躍參加。
費用 (日圓) ：學生2,000、博後 3,000、教師 4,000 (現場收費)。

2.  Taiwan-Japan Joint Symposium (3S03m)
時間：7/26（Friday）8:40-10:40 a.m.
地點：Room 201（第三會場）
主持人：筒井健一郎（東北大學）、賴文崧（國立臺灣大學）
邀請講員：蔡金吾 (國立陽明交通大學)、下郡智美 (Riken Center for Brain Science)、陳示國 (國立臺灣大學)、及谷本拓 (東本大學)。
歡迎大家踴躍進場聆聽，增進台日神經「連線」與交流。

Dear TNS members and folks,

Last year, during the Japanese Neuroscience Society (JNS) 2023 Annual Meeting held in Sendai, Japan, we hosted our Taiwan Night for the first time. The event was highly successful and received enthusiastic feedback from all participants. This year, with strong support from the JNS, we are pleased to announce the expansion of two Taiwan-Japan exchange activities during NEURO2024, scheduled to take place in Fukuoka from July 24-27 (https://neuro2024.jnss.org/en/).

These activities include Taiwan-Japan Joint Social on July 24 (the first day of the conference) and Taiwan-Japan Joint Symposium on July 26 (the third day of the conference), integrated into the official conference program. Please refer to the attached poster or details below for more information. We cordially invite everyone to participate actively and make these events a great success.

1.  Taiwan-Japan Social (aka Taiwan Night)
Time: 6:40-8:40 p.m. 7/24 (Wed)
Location: Room 204（第六會場）
We have invited distinguished guests, including representatives from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in Japan, the President of the JNS, and other VIPs. There will be a splendid banquet and refreshments available during the events. We warmly welcome everyone to join us enthusiastically.
Fees (in Japanese Yen, on-site collection): Student 2,000, Postdoc 3,000, Lectures and above 4,000

2.  Taiwan-Japan Joint Symposium (3S03m)
Time: 8:40-10:40 a.m. 7/26 (Fri)
Location: Room 201（第三會場）
Speakers: Drs. Jin-Wu TSAI (National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University), Tomomi SHIMOGORI (Riken Center for Brain Science), Shi-Kuo CHEN (National Taiwan University), and Hiromu TANIMOTO (Tohoku University). Please join the discussion to promote the “wiring” between Taiwan and Japan.

We sincerely hope that through these activities, we can attract more researchers, teachers, and students interested in Taiwan-Japan collaboration and exchange. This will foster increased bilateral interaction and cooperation, enabling us to work together to unlock the mysteries of neuroscience.
