New Members
The Chinese Pharmacology Society Neuropsychopharmacology Section (CPS NP
Section), which has 88 members, joined AsCNP. AsCNP currently has nine
society members. CPS NP Section members Prof. Gang Hu (Nanjing Medical
University) and Prof. Zhong Chen (Zhejiang University) were elected as new
AsCNP Councilors. Our current board members can be found at

Individual and Corresponding Members newly joined AsCNP. The number of IABPP
(Indonesia) members increased from 20 to 47. The number of JSNP and JSCNP
(Japan) members increased by 26 and 20, respectively. I cordially welcome
all of the new AsCNP members. AsCNP currently has more than 3200 members
(2900 ordinary members and 300 honorary members/student members).
6th AsCNP Congress
This congress will be held in Fukuoka, Japan, on October 11-13, 2019: https:

995 participants (824 for AsCNP2019) have registered for the
AsCNP/JSNP/JSCNP2019 Congress. A total of 458 abstracts for oral/poster

AsCNP Lundbeck Science Award
As I mentioned in the previous correspondence, the AsCNP Lundbeck Science
Award was launched, with special thanks to Lundbeck and our Award Committee.
The awardees will be announced in September 2019.
AsCNP2019 promotion at WFSBP
On June 2-6, the 2019 World Federation of Societies of Biological Psychiatry
(WFSBP) conference was held in Vancouver. WFSBP kindly provided a booth for
AsCNP2019 together with CINP2020 (Photo 1). Ms. Chia-Min Huang, the
secretary assistant of TSBPN, managed the booth during the meeting. The
Taiwan Night was also held in Vancouver, and the future of Asian
neuropsychopharmacology was discussed (Photo 2). AsCNP2019, CINP2020, and
WFSBP2021 have mutually linked their congress websites:

CINP
Collegium Internationale Neuro-Psychopharmacologicum (CINP) is an important
partner of AsCNP. The CINP World Congress will be held in Taipei on June
25-28, 2020. The CINP World Congress will be held in Tokyo in May 2024.
